The restaurant serves authentic North African food served in colorful and intimate surroundings. Interior is decorated with gauzy fabrics, hanging lanterns, beaded pillows and artifacts that reference his homeland. It all sets the stage for lamb tangine, couscous, kebobs, azzlouk (roasted eggplant sauteed in spices and merguez). All of the sauces are made with vegetable broth, so there are plenty of specialties for vegetarians and vegans. Entrees average $20 and come with homemade bread and chef-made humus. Small plates are also available. Belly dancers show up regularly and perform.

Great place for a change, I loved how we were well taken care of, the food is very good and tasty... we loved the shrimp briwat and their tagines are the best , the bread is yummy and their paella is a must try (closer in taste than the one I had in southern spain, nothing like what is served in other restaurants around town).
