Woman beaten with bottle in Punta Gorda 'road rage'
A 51-year-old Tennessee man was jailed Wednesday, following a "road rage" incident in Punta Gorda that saw him beat a 54-year-old woman on the head with a bottle and punch her repeatedly, authorities said.
Douglas Edward Hasselman, of Drummonds, Tennessee, was charged with felony burglary to a conveyance and misdemeanor battery, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office.
